Research Projects

01

Young Astro-Scholars Internship George Mason University

Published a research paper in the GMU JASR Student Journal validating the existence of TOI 3779.01, a possible exoplanet candidate, by modeling light curves and performing probabilistic modeling using python to find the radius of this planet. With a clear detection of a transit and a large radius value, I classified my exoplanet as a Hot Jupiter.

02

NASA California Space Grant Consortium

Spearheaded my team to build a rover that was presented at the Evergreen Valley College MSE Symposium (Math Science Engineering). My role was to 3D model the initial design using CAD software and code arduino modules in C++ to make the rover autonomously move, record atmospheric/GPS data, and periodically capture images of the environment.
